  1. Hi Gina! My name is Samantha Bousquet and i am a book reviewer. I am the blogger of http://bundlesofbooks101.blogspot.com/ . I came across your book Auracle, and it looks sooo good. I was wondering if you had an ARC for me to read and review for my blog? Hope to hear from you soon!

      Hi Samantha,

Yes!! I recognize you … I love your interview with our fellow Class of 2k12er Lynda!! I’m in the process of making up a list of bloggers I’d like my editor to send books out to. She doesn’t have a zillion ARC’s (they only sent me 2 😦 but I will definitely put you on the list with the following email address – sbsweetheart31@aol.com. I’d love to have you review Auracle when it’s closer to the release date (8/7/12) – it was so much fun to write!! In the event they run out of hard ARC copies, do you have an e-reader? I know real paper books are better (I’m a big fan of real books I can buy at indie bookstores) because then you can do giveaways with the ARCs, which is a fun way to lure new readers to your blog. Speaking of giveaways, if you want to send me your mailing address, I had silicone bracelets made for Auracle, and I’d be happy to send some along to you to toss in if you decide to go the giveaway route.

  2. haha that is so cool that you recognize me!!! and that would be great! When do you think i would receive the ARC?

    • Gina Rosati says:

Unfortunately, when it comes to paper ARC’s, it’s always a matter of “if” and not “when”. I have you on the list and I’ll try my best to get you a paper copy, but I’m also hoping they’ll put Auracle on NetGalley because that makes life so much easier for everyone everywhere. Are you signed up on NetGalley?

  3. Yes i am but my blog does not meet all of the requirements. I hope to receive an ARC from you! Crossin my fingers!

  4. Gina Rosati says:

All the requirements for NetGalley? What are the requirements?

  5. Like, have so and so many followers, hsve your blog up for so many months and other things.

  6. Gina Rosati says:

Oh. Yeah, I’m not on NetGalley so I don’t know all the rules. Although it’s one of those situations where how are you going to GET so many followers if you don’t have books to review. I’ll see what I can do and once I figure out what’s what, I’ll let you know what to expect.

  7. Exactly! I need to get NEW books to review so i can draw in new members(: Thank you for even trying!

  8. Sorry if i am bothering you, but if you cannot get the book for me…would those bracelets still be available?

  9. Gina Rosati says:

Absolutely, I’d love to send you a handful of bracelets. And I’m still trying to get a book for you, but I won’t know for a while … the end of the calendar year is a busy time at publishing houses. Send me your mailing address and I’ll put the bracelets in the mail to you on Monday. If other authors don’t have ARC’s available, they may have other ‘swag’ to offer, like bookmarks. I just got my cover a few weeks ago so I don’t have bookmarks yet, but I’ll send you some once I get them. I also suggest that you talk to your local librarian and see if she’ll keep you in the loop when she gets new books … that way, you can get newer reviews up and build your following.

  10. I’ll be sure to do that! And thank you so much for sending me bracelets! I hope to get the book and other ‘swag’ sent to me! My mailing address is

    Samantha Bousquet
    12 LaCasa Drive
    Coventry, RI 02816

Can’t wait to receive the stuff!

  11. When do you think i will receive everything?

  12. Gina Rosati says:

Bracelets should be there by Monday. I have no idea about the ARC, in fact, I haven’t had a chance to talk to my editor about it yet. This time of year is crazy busy for editors, so I may not know for quite a while.

  13. That is okay? How many bracelets are you going to send me?

  14. Sorry, no need for the first ? mark

  15. Fantastic! I can’t wait. I literally cannot thank you enough for doing this!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

  16. Gina Rosati says:

Thanks, Samantha! Happy thanksgiving to you and your family too!!

  17. Not to be a bother, but do you think i will receive a copy of your book and/or other swag to giveaway for my blog?

  18. And I don’t really use NetGalley much anymore since my laptop always breaks down when I use it and I don’t have an eReader…anyways, if not, that’s fine! I know a lot of other more amazing bloggers have requested some, so if you don’t have any, I understand. 🙂

I have the same question: Do you think I could get an ARC of Auracle to review on my blog http://www.fiction-freak.blogspot.com?
